Ingredients

  • 1 lb sushi-grade tuna, cut into ¼ inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 avocado, cut into cubes

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the tuna cubes, soy sauce, sesame oil, lime juice, ginger, garlic, cilantro, and parsley.
  2. Stir to mix all ingredients together until evenly distributed.
  3. Cover the bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Just before serving, remove the bowl from the refrigerator and stir in the toasted sesame seeds, salt to taste, and the cubed avocado.
  5. Serve chilled.
