Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread
- 1/4 cup of melted butter
- 1/2 cup of grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a combination of both)
- 1/2 cup of sliced vegetables (such as bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, or zucchini)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat a pan over medium-high heat.
- Spread the melted butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place the slices of bread butter-side-down in the pan and cook until lightly toasted.
- Sprinkle the grated cheese on one slice of bread and top with the vegetables.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with the other slice of bread, butter-side-up.
- Cook until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.
- Remove from the pan and cut in half.
