Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle with walnuts.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Allow brownies to cool in pan before cutting into squares.
