Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup tequila
- 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the tequila, lime juice, garlic, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the marinade. Grill the chicken for 4-5 minutes per side, or until it’s cooked through.
- Serve the chicken with your favorite sides.
