Ingredients
- 4 medium turnips, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon caraway seeds
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
- Add the diced turnips and cook for 8 minutes or until fork tender.
- Drain the turnips and return them to the pot.
- Add the butter, caraway seeds, salt and pepper to the pot and mash with a potato masher until desired consistency.
- Serve warm.
