Ingredients
2 cups boiling water
2 packages of Jell-O mix, your favorite flavor
1/2 cup of lime juice
1 cup of diced tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, kiwi, etc.)
1/4 cup of vodka or other clear liquor
Directions
Pour the boiling water into a mixing bowl. Add the Jell-O mix and whisk together until it's completely dissolved.
Add the lime juice and stir until combined.
Pour the mixture into individual shot glasses, filling them halfway.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes, until the shots are set.
Mix together the diced tropical fruit and vodka in a small bowl.
Spoon the fruit and vodka mixture over the top of the shots.
Chill for at least 15 minutes, or until the shots are completely set.
Serve chilled and enjoy!
Interesting Facts
These shots can also be made with other types of liquor, such as rum or tequila.
Feel free to experiment with different fruits and flavors to find the perfect combination.
Jell-O shots can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator for up to two days.
