Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup milk

Directions

  2. In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
