Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken (3-4 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350℉ (180℃).
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, parsley, paprika and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165℉ (74℃).
- Rest the chicken for 10 minutes before carving.
