Ingredients
- 1 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup snow peas, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
- 2 tablespoons scallions, chopped
- 2 cups cooked rice or noodles
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until just cooked through.
- Add the snow peas and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes, or until just tender.
- Add the soy sauce mixture and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes, or until the shrimp is cooked through and the sauce is thickened.
- Stir in the cilantro and scallions and serve over steamed rice or noodles.
