Ingredients
- 1 cup (250 ml) pure maple syrup
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) butter
- 3 cups (375 ml) icing sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon (1 ml) salt
Directions
- Combine the maple syrup, butter and salt in a large microwave-safe bowl. Cook on high power for 3-4 minutes, stirring every minute.
- Add the icing sugar to the mixture and stir until combined. Cook for a further 2 minutes on high power, stirring every minute.
- Spread the mixture into a greased 8-inch (20 cm) square baking dish. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into pieces.
