Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of kale, washed and torn into small pieces
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable broth
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh herbs (basil, oregano, parsley)

Directions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Add the kale and season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the vegetable broth and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, until the kale is tender.
  5. Serve hot, with optional fresh herbs.
