Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crabmeat, picked over
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the crabmeat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, pepper, and salt.
  3. Mix well with a rubber spatula.
  4. Add the bread crumbs and mix until just combined.
  5. Shape the mixture into 8 cakes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with the melted butter.
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
  8. Serve hot.
