Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups sweet potatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Directions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil.
  2. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  3. Add the ground turkey and spices to the skillet and cook for 7-8 minutes, stirring often, until the turkey is cooked through.
  4. Add the sweet potatoes and chicken broth to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sweet potatoes are cooked through.
  6. Serve the Paleo Hash warm with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
