Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup chopped kale

Directions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  2. Add the oats and stir to combine.
  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the olive oil, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes and stir to combine.
  5. Add the kale and stir to combine.
  6. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
