  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  1. In a large bowl, combine the pork, soy sauce, wine, sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and scallions. Mix well to combine.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
