Ingredients
- 1 pound ground pork
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons Shaoxing wine
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the pork, soy sauce, wine, sugar, cornstarch, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and scallions. Mix well to combine.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through.
- Serve the meatballs in a bowl with the broth.
