- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium bananas)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Beat in the mashed banana until combined. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just blended.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the pan comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes before cutting into bars.
