Ingredients
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin puree, sugars, oil, eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- Slowly stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
