Ingredients

  • 2 medium yellow squash
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Slice the yellow squash into 1/4 inch thick slices.
  2. In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip each slice of squash into the flour mixture and coat evenly.
  4. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Add the coated squash slices to the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
