Ingredients

  • 2 pounds bratwurst
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 large onions, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/3 cup spicy brown mustard
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush the bratwursts with olive oil and place them on the grill. Grill for about 8 minutes, flipping once, until the bratwursts are cooked through.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are golden and caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the mustard, honey, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  5. To serve, place the bratwursts on a platter and top with the caramelized onions. Serve with the mustard sauce on the side.
