Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup festive sprinkles
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar using an electric mixer. Add the vanilla extract and egg and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
- Fold in the sprinkles and mix until evenly distributed.
- Using a cookie scoop, scoop out dough and place on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool completely before serving.
