- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar

- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-by-5-inch loaf pan with butter and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat together the granulated sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until light and creamy.
- Add the flour mixture and buttermilk to the sugar mixture in batches, beating until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter in the loaf pan.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before slicing and serving.
