Ingredients

  • 1 brisket (3-4 lbs.)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the brisket and brown on all sides. Transfer the brisket to a slow cooker.
  2. Add the onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the buffalo sauce, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, chili powder, oregano, cumin, and smoked paprika to the skillet and stir to combine. Pour the sauce over the brisket.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, or until the brisket is fork-tender.
