Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1 cup of dried morel mushrooms

- 1 cup of vegetable broth
- 1 cup of stone-ground grits
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream

Directions
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the morel mushrooms and garlic to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes. stirring occasionally.
- Add the vegetable broth and grits to the skillet and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the heavy cream and cheese and stir until the cheese is melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm.
