Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lbs venison roast or steaks
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, ginger, garlic, and vegetable oil. Stir to combine.
  2. Place the venison in a slow cooker and pour the teriyaki mixture over it. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours, or until the venison is tender.
  3. When the venison is done, serve it with steamed rice and vegetables.
