Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 8 ounces thin rice noodles
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped green onions

Directions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook until the shrimp are pink and cooked through, about 3 minutes.
  2. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more.
  3. Add the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes and stir to combine.
  4. Add the noodles and sesame oil and cook for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender.
  5. Remove from the heat and stir in the green onions.
  6. Serve the shrimp and noodles in individual bowls.
