Ingredients
- 6 cups cubed stale bread
- 3 cups whole milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the cubed bread, milk, sugar, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract; stir until all of the bread is evenly coated.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and melted butter. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.
- Allow to cool before serving.
