Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup dried cherries
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Make a well in the center, and add the melted butter, eggs, yogurt, and cherries. Stir until just moistened. Pour into prepared loaf pan.
- Bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
