Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and garlic and cook for 2 minutes, or until the shrimp is cooked through.
Add the red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, chicken broth, cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and parsley. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce heat to low.
Simmer for 5 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Add the cooked linguine and toss to combine.
Serve the shrimp-linguine Alfredo with extra Parmesan cheese, if desired.
