Ingredients
- 1 block extra-firm tofu, drained and cubed
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon chili paste
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add tofu and cook until lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, and chili paste and stir to combine.
- Add vegetable broth and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add almonds and green onion and cook for 2 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm over cooked rice or noodles.
