Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork tenderloin, cut into cubes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the pork cubes, garlic powder, onion powder, soy sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and black pepper. Mix until all the ingredients are well blended and the pork cubes are evenly coated.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water and set aside.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork cubes and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork cubes are lightly browned.
  4. Add the tomato sauce mixture and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork cubes are cooked through.
  5. Stir in the cornstarch mixture and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Serve the sati-babi with steamed white rice.
