Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sake
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the sake and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add the Gorgonzola cheese and stir until melted.
- Add the cream, honey, garlic powder, and thyme and stir until well combined.
- Continue to simmer until the sauce has thickened, about 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
- Serve over your favorite pasta, steak, or fish.
