Ingredients

  • 1 cup semolina (rava)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup ghee
  • 1/4 cup mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, and raisins), chopped
  • 2 cardamom pods, crushed

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, add the semolina and mix in the sugar.
  2. Melt the ghee in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the semolina-sugar mixture to the pan and stir constantly for about 5 minutes until the mixture starts to turn golden brown.
  4. Add the mixed nuts and cardamom and mix well.
  5. Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a large bowl.
  6. Mix the mixture with your hands until it forms a dough-like consistency.
  7. Roll the dough into small balls and garnish with the remaining mixed nuts.
  8. Serve the laddu warm or at room temperature.
