Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup wheat bran
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raisins
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, bran, baking soda, and salt. Gradually stir into the creamed mixture.
- Fold in raisins. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in preheated oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
