Ingredients
- 1 cup of oysters, chopped
- ¼ cup of celery, diced
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- ½ teaspoon of black pepper
- 2 tablespoons of fresh parsley, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the celery and sauté for 2 minutes.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly.
- Add the oysters, black pepper and salt and cook, stirring occasionally, until the oysters are cooked through.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the parsley and lemon juice.
- Serve hot over rice or mashed potatoes.
