Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups half-and-half
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in garlic, and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Stir in spinach, and cook until heated through, about 5 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle flour over spinach, and stir until combined. Pour in half-and-half, and bring to a simmer.
  4. Reduce heat to low, and simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes. Stir in salt, pepper, and parsley.
  5. Serve warm.
