Ingredients

  • 4 boneless pork chops
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 (15 ounce) can hominy, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (10 ounce) can green chiles, diced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Transfer to a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  3. Spread the hominy over the pork chops. Top with the diced green chiles and sour cream. Sprinkle with the cheese.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the pork chops are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
