Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup cooked rice
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt; stir into the creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Stir in the almond extract.
- Stir in the cooked rice. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Cool before serving.
