Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (8-ounce) tub frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 (3.4-ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oil, and eggs. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Pour batter into prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake with the end of a wooden spoon. Pour sweetened condensed milk over top.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together pudding mix and cold milk until thick and creamy. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Spread pudding mixture over cake. Top with whipped topping. Sprinkle with pecans, if desired.
