Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken drumettes
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Directions

  1. In a shallow bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, ginger, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Dredge the drumettes in the flour mixture and shake off any excess.
  4. Fry the drumettes in batches, for about 5 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Transfer the cooked drumettes to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce and honey.
  7. Return the cooked drumettes to the skillet and pour the teriyaki mixture over the drumettes. Toss to coat.
  8. Cook for about 2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the drumettes are completely coated.
  9. Serve immediately.
