Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon, cloves, allspice, nutmeg, cardamom, baking powder, and baking soda.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Mix in honey, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Stir the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix in almonds and walnuts.
- Using your hands, form the dough into walnut-sized balls. Place them on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
