Ingredients
- 1 9-inch unbaked pie crust
- 4 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 teaspoons rose water
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, combine apples, rose water, white sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Toss until apples are evenly coated.
- Pour apple mixture into pie crust. Dot with butter.
- Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and continue baking for 35 to 40 minutes, or until apples are tender and crust is golden brown.
- Cool before serving.
