Ingredients
- 1 pound of your favorite pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup chopped garlic scapes
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Directions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package directions.
- Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the garlic scapes and onion and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
- Add the wine and cook until most of the liquid has evaporated, about 2 minutes.
- Add the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper and stir to combine.
- Drain the pasta and add to the skillet with the garlic scapes.
- Toss to combine and cook for 1 minute.
- Serve topped with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
