- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced jalapeno pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1/2 cup Mexican-style cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup salsa
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the diced onion, bell pepper, jalapeno pepper, cilantro, and cheese. Mix until all ingredients are combined.
- Form mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked through.
- Remove from oven and transfer to a serving dish. Top with salsa and serve.
