Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts (6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs, such as parsley, oregano, and thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Preheat a sous vide water bath to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C).
- Cut a pocket into each chicken breast and stuff with mozzarella cheese and herbs.
- In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture over the outside of the chicken breasts.
- Place the chicken breasts in a sous vide bag and seal according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Place the bag in the preheated water bath and cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Carefully remove the bag from the water bath. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
- Transfer the chicken to a plate and serve.
