1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
Preheat a sous vide water bath to 140 degrees F (60 degrees C).
Cut a pocket into each chicken breast and stuff with mozzarella cheese and herbs.
In a small bowl, mix together the garlic, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture over the outside of the chicken breasts.
Place the chicken breasts in a sous vide bag and seal according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Place the bag in the preheated water bath and cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Carefully remove the bag from the water bath. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.
Transfer the chicken to a plate and serve.
Interesting Facts
Sous vide is a French cooking technique that means “under vacuum.” It is a method of cooking food in a sealed plastic pouch at a low temperature for a prolonged period of time.
The low temperature helps to preserve the moisture in the food while also ensuring that it is cooked evenly all the way through.
Sous vide cooking is becoming increasingly popular, as it is a great way to ensure that food is cooked perfectly every time.
