Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cups cooked meat (e.g. chicken, beef, pork, etc.)
  • 2 cups cooked vegetables (e.g. carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
  • 1 cup cooked starch (e.g. potatoes, rice, pasta, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is soft, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add cooked meat, vegetables, and starch to the skillet and stir to combine. Cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle cheese, breadcrumbs, and pepper over the top.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm.
