Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream. Mix in the cinnamon and walnuts.
- Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool in pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
