Ingredients
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1/2 cup light brown sugar

Directions

Stir in pecans and chocolate chips.
Spread mixture in the bottom of an unbaked 9-inch pie crust.
In a small bowl, combine condensed milk and vanilla extract. Pour over the pecan mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for about 40 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool before serving.

This pie is often called "Turtle Pie" because it resembles the shape of a turtle.
The topping is similar to a caramel sauce, but without the need to make a caramel sauce.
