Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a baking sheet.
In a medium bowl, mix together the melted butter, white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, salt, and cinnamon. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and baking soda until combined. The dough should be thick and slightly sticky.
On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough out to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into strips about 1/2 inch wide and 4 inches long.
Place strips on the prepared baking sheet and brush with the maple syrup. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.
Allow to cool before serving.
