Ingredients

  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 cup of butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 1/2 cup of milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. Add the vanilla and almond extracts and mix until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
  7. Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
