In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream.
Add egg mixture to pumpkin mixture and stir until combined.
Pour pumpkin mixture into eight 4-ounce ramekins.
Place ramekins on a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until custard is set.
Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes.
Sprinkle each ramekin with 1/2 teaspoon of granulated sugar.
Using a kitchen torch, caramelize the sugar. Alternatively, you can put the ramekins under the broiler for a few minutes until the sugar melts and caramelizes.
